We Support Our Veterans!
There’s honestly no way that we, as Americans, could ever say thank you enough to the brave men and women who serve in our U.S. military. These soldiers volunteer to serve their country in so many unique and tremendous ways. On top of that they leave their families for months at a time, sacrifice holidays, birthdays etc just to serve this beautiful country. One of the owners of Sabor Vapors even served in the U.S. Marine Corp.
We believe strongly in supporting our troops. Helping out in any way that we can, whether that be offering a discount off our eliquids to veterans or active duty soldiers or donating money to a great organization. We recently just donated money to an amazing organization, that we really wanted to tell everyone about.
VetSports provides thousands of Veterans with continuous opportunities to reintegrate into their communities through sports, community service, events, and partnership. Currently, they have helped 3,500 veterans!
Founded in 2012 by three combat Veterans, VETSports aims to set the standard for how to improve Veteran’s physical, mental, and emotional health through sports, physical activity, and community involvement. As a 100% volunteer organization in 2016, vetsports volunteers’ averaged about 840 hours of service a year to help their chapters. Due to this amazing amount of effort and resources 42% of veterans have decreased pain, medication, and doctors visits; 71% have improved mental health and 86% state that VetSports services are exactly what they needed. That is amazing!!!
VETSports Chapter’s provide an unparalleled reintegration community for all veterans to be a part of. VETSports chapters provide all uniforms, league fees, equipment, cost, and opportunities to be a contributing member of society. All veterans are a part of the team.
VetSports offers Softball, Football, Hockey, Golf, Volleyball, Running, you name it, the veterans interests are what drives their activities.
Not only does VetSports offer different sporting chapters, they also offer free membership to all veterans. Plus they even offer scholarship, internship and career assistance for veterans wanting to go back to school and pursue a career in the sports industry.
